Smooth Brain (National Poetry Writing Month 2025 #27)   Leave a comment

Empty mind has been scrubbed clean 
Polished to a mirror sheen 
Brain so smooth the thoughts slide off
To the inspiration trough 
For the lesser brains to eat
Wrinkly, gross; they can't compete.
Vapid thoughts are great for me.
Worries gone, my mind is free!
