Memories are warnings against our future mistakes
Oft unheeded guidance for us
Why don’t we listen?
Why not learn?
Ego?
Pride?
Joy?
Love?
Mercy?
Something else?
We may never know
Because we have trouble learning
And so, we make mistakes and more future memories
