With the level of self righteousness
People feel due to their pedigree
Prancing around like prize pups
Barking when told, wagging their tails
To other people's oohs and ahs
What makes you better than others?
Why are you more valuable
Than the dog I saved from the streets?
I don't think you are, in fact
I would go as far as to say
I'd take a thousand mixed mutts
